Dear Colleagues:
The Teaching and Learning Committee is organizing a session with TELI to facilitate online teaching skills and experience. The session aims to assist teachers in converting from traditional teaching to online teaching, introducing and exploring common e-learning tools and available teaching support resources at HKU. The session will also share tips and practices from teachers making use of applying technology to conduct critical learning sessions with students.
The session will be offered live with online participation option, and will be recorded for later reference.
Date: 25 February 3pm (approximate duration 90 minutes including demos, application, teacher sharing)
(Location and online links will be shared by 24 February, 12noon)
In order to best meet teaching needs within the faculty, teachers are invited to share further requests about topics in advance by email to Phoebe (phoebeka@hku.hk) by Wednesday 20 February 2020 noon. For example: How to combine technology delivery with student discussion and feedback? What are the best options for different types of recording and video delivery?
TELI has the following information available on their website which teachers are encouraged to review prior to the session:
– Existing slides and training videos for introduction through https://hku.to/elearn_quickstart and https://hku.to/OnlineLearningFAQ.
– Standard training on some e-learning topics:

We look forward to seeing you there and learning together,
Best regards,
