Dear Teachers,
Many thanks for your continued resilience and dedication during the current teaching period. There are few time sensitive points to highlight for consideration by all teaching staff this week.
– First, as the ADD/DROP period was extended until 21 February, teachers are invited to consider taking into account the possibility of continued hybrid (online and face-to-face) this semester and adapt the percentage allocated for final examination in total course grade and/or the type of assessment and update these changes to SIS and via Moodle. ALL students are currently able to visit any course Moodle until the end of the ADD/DROP period and sharing this information prior to the end of ADD/DROP is important to allow students to decide about course enrolment.
– Second, it is suggested that student advisors make contact with their advisees (if not done so already) to check in, tailoring communication based on year of study with particular needs.
– Third, please be reminded to post information about your ‘virtual’ weekly office hours and method of contact following the university requirement.
