Message from Centre for the Enhancement of Teaching and Learning
Dear colleagues,
There is a growing concern for the wellbeing of our students during these uncertain times. Research has shown that teaching practices can influence student learning and wellbeing.
Dr. Alison Gilmour from the University of Greenwich believes that “Taking a wellbeing lens to our practice is an opportunity to revisit good pedagogical practice.” Maybe we should take a moment to review our teaching practice!
If you have missed Dr. Gilmour’s workshop on student wellbeing last week, you may visit https://www.cetl.hku.hk/winter-sandbox-2020/ for the zoom replay and presentation slides.

Teaching and learning happen more quickly with a community of teachers and learners. We would like to collect relevant teaching and/or learning quotes and tips that you’ve come across in workshops or literature. Send me a quick email at Cecilia.Chan@cetl.hku.hk, we love to hear from you, and will be selecting inspiration tips shared by the community.
Keep safe and smile always,
Regards
